Mrs. Pickens is a recognized businesswoman and philanthropist who happenbs to be the wife of American financier T. Boone Pickens. Madelein Pickens is working towards building a sanctuary for the over 33,000 wild horses and burros that the BLM is currently in holding facilities scattered across the west and midwset.
Madeleine’s goal is to buy a million acres in the Western US where these amazing horses could live out their lives. The ranch would also have an eco-tourism element, so tourists could come to see the horses.
“The foundation is being created to protect and care for the wild horses and to allow citizens from around the world to come to the ranch to see thousands of free roaming wild horses. Please stop the BLM from sending all the sale authority mustangs to slaughter! The BLM have killed off so many thousands and thousands. so few left in the wild and the BLM has taken away natural selection by making the HMAs like fenced pastures ,
Make the BLM release photos of every single round-up, every single death numbers. To this day the BLM has hidden photos of each horse. I want to see every BLM mustang photo on the day of round-up and every single month in theur crappy “care”
Lets at least try to get the young horses adopted out of the horrible BLM holding pens and the older ones onto the land where they can run and live FREE!
At 0:11 seconds… those horses have halters on-the BLM only puts halters on mustangs when someone who adopts one wants a halter on for a training aid. These horses don’t have neck tags-the BLM puts tags with each mustangs individual number on it around their neck to identify them without having to look at the brand. Also? WHERE are these horses brands? The BLM puts a freeze brand on the right side every mustang that they gather’s neck. These are NOT mustangs.
